Hazardous Material Specialist, FMCSA
Jason Rickman is a Hazardous Material Specialist with FMCSA and has been with the Mississippi Division since 2019. He has extensive knowledge of the regulations that comes from his broad range of experience not only with FMCSA but from six years in the tank truck industry as a Regional Safety Manager with Miller Transporters, Inc., who was bought out by Heniff Transportation Systems, LLC, and a decade in state law enforcement with the Mississippi Department of Transportation as a Sergeant where he was a Training Officer and certified roadside inspector. Jason was honored to be a part of the safety team with Miller Transporters, Inc. when they were awarded the prestigious Heil Trophy for safety performance in 2016. He also received the Field Training Officer of the Year award in 2007 and 2010 at MDOT.
