Jim Burg began his career in trucking in the early 80’s. He was an owner operator for nearly 8 years before incorporating and licensing his company. He has logged over 1.3 million miles operating commercial motor vehicles and spent much of that time learning the complexity of transportation and customer needs. Specifically, he has been involved in the design of the most efficient flatbed equipment in the industry. His company is a flatbed carrier which currently operates nearly 100 trucks in the Midwest. Jim has been married to his beloved wife Carol for 23 years and father of 2 wonderful daughters. Olivia is a recent graduate from Marist College, Poughkeepsie, NY and Isabelle is a junior at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN.
