Sue Lawless is an experienced legal and executive expert in transportation safety policy. She is a partner at Scopelitis, Garvin, Light, Hanson & Feary, PC helping lead the Firm’s DOT Safety practice.
She was also recently appointed to PlusAI’s Safety and Policy Advisory Council. Before joining Scopelitis, Ms. Lawless served as the Acting Deputy Administrator, Chief Safety Officer, and Executive Director at the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). With a lengthy career spanning both public and private sectors, Ms. Lawless consistently shows leadership in safety and innovation within the motor carrier industry.
