Chief Transformation Officer, Ruan
Chad joined Ruan in 2005 as the Director of Non-Asset Operations. Throughout his tenure, he has held several leadership roles that have provided him with extensive experience and expertise in technology, safety, and operations. Before moving into his current role of Chief Transformation Officer, he served as Ruan’s Senior Vice President of Safety and Senior Vice President of Operations. As Chief Transformation Officer, Chad is responsible for Ruan’s Information Technology, Operations Support Services, Extended Operations Center, and Safety teams that provide support, systems integration, and technology enablement for Ruan’s entire network of team members and operations nationwide. Prior to joining Ruan, he held various roles in operations, finance, and technology with Transport America and North Star Transport. Chad earned his bachelor's degree in economics from Macalester College and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Food Bank of Iowa.
