Dr. Vanlaar is the Chief Operating Officer of the Traffic Injury Research Foundation (TIRF). He has a Ph.D. in Transportation Science, a Master’s degree in Quantitative Analysis in Social Sciences, and a Master’s degree in Criminology. Dr. Vanlaar has been the Principal Investigator in many scientific research projects including evaluation research, epidemiological research and implementation research.
