President & CEO, U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc.
Eric Fuller serves as President & CEO of Chattanooga, Tenn.-based U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: USX).
In 2018, Eric led the company through its initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange, and in 2019, launched its digital fleet, Variant. He’s also worked to build a culture of problem-solving and innovation, which is helping to transform a traditional trucking company into a true digital transportation solutions provider. Eric is squarely focused on digital initiatives and technology that help drive innovation in the industry, streamline the value chain for U.S. Xpress customers and improve the overall driver experience.
A staunch advocate for the trucking industry, Eric lobbies for a range of regulations which promote safety and environmental responsibility. U.S. Xpress is an early adopter of life-saving technologies like roll stability, disc brakes and accident avoidance systems. The company is also among the few carriers who require hair drug testing of all drivers – a protection that benefits both professional drivers and the public.
Eric serves on the board of directors for the American Trucking Associations and the Trucking Alliance, a trucking safety advocacy group. He’s also a president’s club member of the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, leads its CEO Roundtable of regional leaders, and is a strong supporter of its Chattanooga Climb campaign, an economic development strategy to guide Chattanooga and Hamilton County toward its 2040 vision.
Eric and his wife, Jen, reside in Chattanooga, Tenn. and have three boys.
