Vice President of Safety and Compliance, J.B. Hunt
Joshua Vance has been a dedicated professional in the transportation industry for over 28 years, with over 24 of those years spent at J.B. Hunt Transport Inc. Currently, he holds the title of Vice President of Safety and Compliance, leading a team of over 100 safety professionals.
Joshua began his career at J.B. Hunt in Ohio in Operations, managing drivers delivering hazardous materials across 48 states and Canada. His journey continued as he moved to North Texas, where he played a pivotal role in starting up operations for multiple cutomers. His dedication to safety led him to transition into the safety department within J.B. Hunt, where he quickly advanced to the position of regional safety manager.
Nearly nine years ago, Joshua relocated to Northwest Arkansas to take on the role of Safety Director for Intermodal. After four successful years in that position, he was promoted to Vice President of Safety and Compliance for all of J.B. Hunt.
In his personal time, Joshua enjoys spending quality moments with his wife of 24 years, Jehne, and her French Bulldog. He has a passion for cooking BBQ and loves hanging out by the pool with friends.
